Serves 4 as a dessert or 16 more as a pallet cleanser served in shot glasses
250ml blueberry maple syrup
5 limes, zest and juice
5 lemons, zest and juice
1 bunch of fresh mint, finely chopped
50ml vodka or salt to lower the freezing point
1. Put all the ingredients in a pan, bring to boil then simmer for 10 minutes.
2. Let the mixture cool, then pour into a freezable plastic container.
3. Freeze, stirring after 2 hours, then every hour until frozen.
