The 365+ range of IKEA pots is a kitchen staple for amatuers and experts alike. This range is IKEA at its best, offering excellent value for money with advanced design and construction. Setting you back just 225 AED (or sold in the UK for 55 GBP) for a complete 7-piece cookware set, it’s a small amount to pay for a long term investment. I have two full sets which I find more than adequate for everyday as well as dinner party needs
The range includes a 1 litre milk pan with lid, 3 litre pot with lid, 5 litre pot with lid and a 28cm diameter frying pan, which is the only item that is Teflon coated. The bases are made from aluminium sandwiched between two outer layers of steel which means heat is distributed evenly and food doesn’t burn. The design is extremely effective, IKEA at its best. They are great value for money and come with clever accessories like the Stabil insert for pasta and vegetables which means you don’t risk splashing boiling water on yourself like you do when you drain into a colander.
With a gas hob, I have absolute control over the how I cook the food and find chicken and meat never dry out and food never burns. Being all metal the range is suitable for oven use, although I have never tried it. I can say its easy to use and easy to clean both by hand and in the dishwasher. The only down part is that the small side handles do get extremely hot so you must use mitts or towels to protect your hands.
