Investigating energy and its impact on life has been a dominating practice for me over the last few years. I had been suffering adrenal fatigue and insulin resistance, hormonal disorders that contribute to obesity as well as fatigue and foggy-headedness amongst other symptoms. After several unsuccessful courses of medication, a friend recommended an endocrinologist who switched my medication for a diet plan. Within three days, the cloudiness cleared, my vitality increased and the extra pounds started to drop off. Through exploration of the subject of energy, I could better comprehend how my issues had not only been physical but also mental and spiritual
Our natural flow of wellbeing is governed by our energy field, I understand this to be like an electrical circuit that gives life to our overall being which is made up from our physical body, our minds and our spirit. Any blockage to the flow of energy to any part of our make-up directly impacts the other areas, restricting the life force that we need to be healthy.
The subject of energy is fascinating; the depth of the topic is immense. With its roots in the ancient Far Eastern traditions, modern medicine and psychology have only scratched the surface in the study of what is possibly one of the most difficult concepts to master, let alone explain.
I think of my research process as an exploration, others call it a journey, which is good description, too. The idea of exploring seems to express better the discoveries that happen along the journey rather than the dynamic of the journey itself. The discoveries are infinite and one aspect explored only leads to a new position or viewpoint that then needs to be examined, investigated and explored.
In later posts I shall attempt to interpret my discoveries with the aim that they may be helpful in some way. An open mind and an open heart is all you need to bring as you read, this will help create the space needed for the observations to resonate positively in you.
Let me know if you would like any more information on any of the topics and please feel free to provide feedback.
